Tangled Up

I'm tangled up with two mothers and daughters in my novel. It's sitting high up in my chest, trying to get out.

With such a range of possibilities, you can see why this is difficult.

So, is one mother evil and one good? Or are they both a bit of each?

Thanks for asking that question. It made me realize that they're really both more like that middle image--the desperate huddling in an attempt to protect (in the one case) and to simply manage the great storm of life (in the other).

It's not that the mothers are good or evil, its how their daughters see them.

OH, yeah. That's crucial.
